CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS AND PANEL DISCUSSION

Academy of Family Physicians: Karnataka Chapter is pleased to host the 4th National Conference on Family Medicine and Primary Care which is going to be held from 2nd to 4th of August 2019 at Bangalore, Karnataka. The main theme of the conference is "Technology & Innovations for better Primary Care Delivery."

The scientific committee of FMPC 2019 is inviting proposals for high impact Workshops and Panel Discussions from leaders including young leaders from both within AFPI as well as outside AFPI. The scientific committee intends to use this process to identify a diverse range of theme leaders who will also help shape the sessions and bring significant diversity to enrich the content. Following is format for submission of proposals by Theme Leads:

1. Time/ No. of sessions requested:We have 4 halls during the main conference. ( Hall A: Capacity 750, Hall B : Capacity 120, Hall C: Capacity 90 and Hall D: Capacity 60) to ( JN Tata Auditorium, Hall A, Hall B,Hall C and Hall D)
2. Audience size: For e.g. Workshops and Demos may work better with small audience, Lectures ( duration< 30 minutes may be better in Hall A or B)
3. Format of session: Panel/ Workshop/ Movie/ Demo/ Debate/ Any other format ( please suggest)
4. Key Faculty : Please share bios and why you think they were chosen for the session
5. Program Essentials: Key Learning Objectives should be shared. Concept Note and Abstracts should be written with intention to be ready for publishing in the conference proceedings.
